Do you have the Vision and Leadership to drive the continued transformation of public health in Walsall?
Walsall is a borough of striking contrasts and diversity – and this presents challenges, but also exciting potential. We have achieved a great deal in recent years, but are now seeking to appoint a new Director of Public Health to enable us to go even further and make measurable differences to the health and wellbeing of our population and the places of Walsall.
Walsall Council is embarking on an ambitious, fast-paced, transformation programme of work – the Walsall Proud Programme - designed to make Walsall an even greater place to work and live.
So, we are seeking to appoint a visionary and motivational system- leader, with a proven track record of public health success and deep experience of partnership working. As you will be a key member of our Corporate Management Team, the role provides you with the opportunity to really make your mark. And working across the wider health and care system, through the Walsall Together programme, your influence will reach across the Borough and beyond.
If you have the ambition and expertise to help us make a real impact in Walsall, then we would love to hear from you. It is important that you are a registered GMC, GDC or UK PHR public health specialist with significant experience in all areas of public health practice.
