Job title: Early Years Manager
Responsible to: You will work with, and report to the Management Committee.
Responsible for: Early Years Practitioners, students, volunteers.
Work Pattern: Term Time Only,Monday – Friday 7:45am – 3pm
Jack and Jill's Pre-School are currently looking for a dynamic, engaging manager who is confident in leading a well-established, enthusiastic and friendly team.
As our manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the setting, ensuring that Pre-School life is safe, stimulating and compliant with EYFS, Ofsted, Local Authority and safeguarding requirements.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified 'hands on' Manager to lead the setting. You will be directly responsible for senior staff and Early Years Practitioners, whilst managing and overseeing the whole setting on a daily basis.
This is not an office-based role, you will spend your time within the setting supporting and working closely with both the staff and children. You will also be responsible for overseeing the suitable learning and play activities on a daily basis, ensuring that standards are being met by all of the staff in delivering a high quality of care to the children in the setting.
The successful candidate will have robust knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan and implement a preschool curriculum,taking into account the SEN code of practice, child protection procedures and equal opportunities considerations. Demonstrable and detailed knowledge of current legislation relevant to the early years. Ability to work with parents and families to encourage their involvement.
Ability to effectively market the preschool to maximise occupancy levels and fee income.
The individual must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude towards working with children. You will be part of a team that provide high quality learning environments to children.
Previous proven successful management experience is essential. Ideal candidate should be from an Ofsted graded "Good" or "Outstanding" setting.
- 2 Years experience in a Managers role
- The applicant will need to hold at least a full and relevant CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Pre-school Practice, NVQ level 3 or equivalent and ideally have 5 or more years experience in an Early Years Setting.

- Math and English GCSE grade C or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Level 1
