We are looking for a professional CCTV Operator. You will be joining our team providing a quality CCTV services for which we have achieved the British Standard BS7958.
Community Safety and CCTV are priorities for the Council and we have received significant investment to upgrade our entire CCTV scheme across the District including cameras, transmission infrastructure, operating systems and our Control Room, so you’ll be joining us on an exciting journey.
Our CCTV team operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a shift system basis.
Your duties will include monitoring over 100 CCTV cameras located in eight towns throughout Stratford District. You will be working alongside other organisations and will deal with radio communication, CCTV evidence production and legal documentation.
Excellent observation and communication skills, both verbal and written, IT skills and the ability to recall information accurately are essential. Full training will be given on the Council CCTV system.
A current Security Industry Authority (SIA) Front Line Licence for a CCTV Operator is essential, along with a required minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Public Space Surveillance (PSS) environment.
