32.5 Hours per Week

Required for September 2019

Number on roll: 504 including a 60 place nursery

2/3 form entry, moving to 3 form entry from September 2020

We are looking for an inspirational leader and team player who:

• Is committed to developing the ‘whole child’ and inclusivity

• Has the ability to think strategically and to formulate a clear strategy and vision for raising pupil achievement and accelerating pupil progress.

• Has the ability to lead the continuous improvement of the school

• Can demonstrate proven leadership and management skills that empower, motivate and inspire staff to achieve the highest standards

• Has experience and knowledge of effective Foundation Stage and KS 1 & 2 curriculum development and can inspire the development of a creative enriched curriculum.

• Has excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and will use these to raise the profile of the school and further integrate it into the wider community.

• Can manage change as the school increases in size over the next few years.

• Can work effectively with governors, parents and other stakeholders

Pupils would like someone who:

• Is fun, friendly and who listens to us

• Has rules and is fair

• Is thoughtful with fun ideas and can give us tricky work

Staff would like someone who:

• Is a good leader who is approachable and friendly with a clear vision for school improvement

• Is committed and wants the best for the school

• Is fair but firm and has clear expectations

• Can communicate well with parents, all staff and pupils

• Can involve all stakeholders in the process of change
