Grade 6 SCP 24-29 £22,401 – £26,470 per annum (Pro-Rata)
25 hours per week (Term Time only)
Monday – Friday 9.00 – 3.15
Alumwell Infant School is seeking to appoint a Parent Support Advisor with safeguarding responsibilities.
Our school is working to ensure the best outcomes for all our children. We are excited to be able to offer the above position to someone who shares the same values.
You will need to have:
- A passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable children
- An understanding of Safeguarding and school based support work
- Ability to work with different agencies involved in Safeguarding
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High levels of organisation, motivation and confidence
- Strong communication and administrative abilities
The work of the Parent Support Advisor will allow children and families to feel supported and will ensure effective outcomes in terms of improving mental health, well-being, relationships and home and school circumstances for many of our families.
At interview, candidates will be asked for photo identification and proof of qualifications. The appointment is subject to a DBS enhanced clearance plus 2 suitable professional references.
