About the Role:
Our Additional Learning Support team consists of a Learning Support Manager, Learning Support Assistant and Learning Support Administrator. The team is responsible for supporting all Students with disabilities or learning differences.
The role will involve keeping accurate written records of support provided, administering diagnostic assessments of students for learning differences and co-coordinating special arrangements for lessons and examinations. The post holder will need to work flexibly with a range of other areas and teams, including but not limited to: lead tutors, personal tutors, subject leaders, teachers, and outside agencies. The post carries the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people that the holder comes into contact with.
