27.5 Hours per Week

Are you passionate about children fulfilling their potential in KS1? Do you want to work in an outstanding forward thinking infant school where children are eager to learn, are very well behaved and you are supported to develop your skills as an effective teaching assistant?

The governors wish to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to work in a Year 1 class, supporting a child with emotional needs. We want someone who is motivated to secure and maintain high standards of achievement, whilst promoting learning that is a challenging and an exciting experience!

Our vision is to make our school a centre of excellence and to create a learning culture that allows both staff and pupils to grow together to be the best that they can be.

Candidates need to hold at least a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and need to be:

• Committed, enthusiastic and talented with a passion for infant education

• Excellent practitioners with high expectations.

• Able to work as part of a team.

• Friendly, approachable and flexible.

• Organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills

The post is part time and the hours of employment will be 8.45am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, for 39 weeks of the year. The job will be fixed term until 31st August 2020.
