An opportunity has arisen at Worcestershire County Council for a Social Worker
Salary:
Social Worker Level 2: £23,866 - £27,358
Social Worker Level 3: £28,221 - £32,233
The Young Adults Team works in an integrated way to support young people with additional needs, aged 16 to 25, through the transition to adulthood. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Social Worker or a Social Worker with experience and practice knowledge of working with young people and their families to enable them to experience the transition as positive and exciting time so that they can achieve their full potential to live independent lives. The successful candidate will have excellent assessment and planning skills alongside experience of safeguarding processes and practice.
We work within the Three Conversation Model of practice, to ensure a person centred approach for young people and their families, and work across a range of agencies such as Children's Services, Health and SEN to ensure positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, planning and organisation skills. They will also have relevant experience of working with young people with additional needs and their families.
