The City Employment and Wellbeing Service has an enviable track record of successfully attracting, managing and delivering a wide range of large grant funded programmes, particularly European Social Funds. Our programmes further enhance the lives of Coventry citizens by providing high quality and personalised education, training and employment support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our expanding Programmes Management Team as we build upon the work we have started and work with organisations across the city to develop new, exciting and innovative education, training and employment programmes.

We are looking for applicants that have experience in an administration &/or project support role.  You will need to be able to provide a high standard of support to the Programme Management Team to ensure the successful delivery of programmes and projects.

Tasks will include:
•Supporting the development of systems and procedures.
•Maintaining accurate records and monitoring financial and performance information across programmes.
•Assisting Programme Management Team colleagues with auditing delivery partner’s claims, ensuring that spend and activity meets ESF eligibility requirements.
•Raising purchase orders and payments to partners.
•Liaising with partners in relation to queries and providing support with different aspects of the claims process.

You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with a variety of people both verbally and in writing. The ability to work to deadlines is essential, along with a high level of attention to detail to ensure files and records are maintained to the standards expected by both the City Council and funding bodies.

You will have excellent ICT skills and be proficient in using a variety of packages in order to accurately record, analyse, monitor and review information. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, on your own and with a wide range of partners is also critical to this role.

The role is initially fixed term until March 2020, however, we are currently applying for additional funding and there may be a possibility that this post will be extended.
