Safeguarding Boards are multi agency partnership Boards that review safeguarding arrangements in the local area for children or adults at risk.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time business support administrator to work in our small, professional and friendly team. 

The ideal candidate should be a highly organised, skilled administrator that is able to work autonomously in this busy environment, whilst enjoying the support and benefits of working for the local authority. 

This post will work within the business unit that supports the functioning of the two Boards. 

Main duties & responsibilities include: 

  • Providing a highly organised administration support to service users and customers
  • Deliver a professional level of customer service across all platforms of communication (face to face, telephone and written correspondence)
  • Maintain up to date IT systems and software packages
  • Excellent attention to detail including note / minute taking skills, and producing professional information for managers/ clients
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and networking capabilities
  • Must have a minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including A* to C in Maths and English
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Administration/ Business Support required or equivalent experience
