The Learning Link Multi Academy Trust (LLMAT) is a new and growing community of academies across the West Midlands. We seek to appoint an Executive Headteacher to provide vision, exceptional and outstanding leadership and management for Sledmere Primary School and for our growing number of academies within our Dudley hub of LLMAT schools.

As Executive Headteacher, you will be part of a hard-working and well-motivated team, dedicated to improving the life chances of all children and creating a family of outstanding academies where world-class teachers place children at the heart of everything. This is an exciting time to join LLMAT, as the pace of change continues, presenting a wealth of professional development and growth to all staff.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Being the Executive Leader of LLMAT with a substantial leadership role at Sledmere Primary School
  • Providing leadership, internal organisation, management and control of the schools and consulting appropriately in so doing
  • Building a collaborative learning culture within and between the schools of the LLMAT to ensure that every child reaches their full potential in all competencies and areas of their development
  • Responding dynamically as appropriately to key national policies and initiatives
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children for whom LLMAT is responsible and those with whom they come into contact
  • Conducting key staff appointments and appraisals 
  • Carrying out the duties required of a Headteacher as set out in part six of the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document at one of the LLMAT schools

 

The Executive Headteacher will also undertake any other duties, which from time to time may be required and be relevant and commensurate with the post, as deemed necessary by the CEO.

The successful candidate will be a skilled negotiator, with the ability, vision, energy and enthusiasm, to put the needs of the children first.
