Cleaner at Streetly Academy - Ref: RT45118
Salary G2 £8.54- £8.93 per hour
These posts qualify for the Living Wage. The Council is committed to paying the Living Wage which is currently £8.75 per hour. This arrangement will be reviewed annually.
We require a hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaner - in return, we offer excellent pay and holiday entitlements.
A permanent cleaner is required at the following location to ensure the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our school and outlying buildings.
Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, washing, polishing, dusting, emptying litter bins, deep cleaning and using powered equipment as required. The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery.

Streetly Academy (Queslett Road East, B74 3EX)
Start time: 3.30pm – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Hours per week: 10 (39 weeks per year)
Walsall Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Completion of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check may be a requirement of this post.
