We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced professionals to join Herefordshire Adult’s and Wellbeing social care service who are ready to embrace change and new ways of working.
As one of the senior professionals in the team you will support and develop your team, supervise good practice with safeguarding and complex cases and work in close collaboration with health colleagues to make a real difference and achieve positive outcomes.

You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC and work in keeping with the new responsibilities under The Care Act 2014. You will be expected to have a good knowledge of complex case management, effective decision making skills including positive risk taking and conflict resolution. You will have a solid knowledge base within adult social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation.

You will have the ideas, values and knowledge that ensure that our responses are strengths based, safe and effective. You will have experience of supporting staff on a day to day basis and responsibility for overseeing safeguarding and allocation of case work. We are interested in staff with experience in mental health, learning disability, physical disability and older people.
Hereford is a rural county and the ability to travel is integral to the post.
