Herefordshire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Engineer with relevant experience and qualifications to take on the challenges of a rural county with ambitious plans to support economic growth through well planned new development and ensuring a high quality environment.
You will lead and manage a small team of engineers, providing transportation and highway technical support, advice and response to development proposals through the planning process.

The ability to lead, monitor performance and good organisational skills are essential in supporting the team in delivering the required outcomes and in developing the team.

This post will include an additional market forces allowance of £4,705 which will initially be in place for two years and may be extended. Herefordshire Council can also offer a generous re-location package of up to £5k.
