Warwickshire Legal Services has operated on a business footing for over 20 years and now has over 60 fee earners providing a comprehensive range of services to over 15 public sector clients, including pioneering shared service arrangements with Warwick District Council and two police forces. We have two Senior Solicitor/Team Leader posts within the Corporate and Commercial Team and we are looking to recruit to one of these posts.

We are looking for candidates who are first rate lawyers and who solve problems,enjoy people management, inspire staff and client confidence, understand commercial imperatives, welcome change and challenge,and have the potential to progress within our business. We will consider full-time and part-time candidates.

Key Requirements

You will be responsible (jointly with the other Team Leader) for Leading the Team and supervising the other team members. You will be responsible for providing support at a senior level for all of our clients across the range of work carried out by the Team, including major projects, information governance and general corporate governance. You will need to demonstrate an aptitude for complex problem solving and the ability to work quickly and accurately, as part of a friendly and supportive team, you need to be willing to learn and adapt to the challenging legal environment in the public sector.

You should be a fully qualified practising solicitor or barrister with at least 5 years post qualification experience in relevant areas
