We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, effective and enthusiastic specialist in ICT and Computing from June 2019, to this highly successful, over-subscribed school which is the highest preforming 11-18 school in Staffordshire and regularly features in the regional press as one of the highest performing schools in the West Midlands.  We gained ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection and as part of the Local Authority’s quality assurance strategy, we currently have Category 1 status, which is the highest category of school performance.

 

ICT & Computing have an excellent reputation within the Academy and many students choose to continue with Computer Science in the Sixth Form. Both attainment and progress in ICT & Computing is very strong at GCSE and at A-Level. The successful candidate needs to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach ICT and Computing from Year 7 to GCSE.  A Level teaching is available for suitably qualified and experienced teachers.

Salary: Pay range between £23,718 and £39,405 pa according to the Academy Pay Policy.
