Glynne Primary School is a two form entry community school with approximately 480 children including a maintained nursery. Our school motto is 'Aiming High' and we aim to achieve high standards by providing the very best education that we can. We offer a creative curriculum and place great value on art, music and PE as well as academic achievement. The social, moral, cultural and spiritual aspects of our curriculum are equally important and we are a 'Rights Respecting School' teaching the children about the UN Convention of Children's Rights.

Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Mentor to support pupils who are experiencing difficulties in learning due to social, emotional or behavioural issues. Your role will be to:

  • Support pupils inside and outside the classroom, helping them develop coping strategies, raise their self-esteem and encourage them to re-engage in learning.
  • Take into account and understand the range of complex issues that can affect learning.
