Class Teacher -  (Temporary for 1 year with a view to becoming permanent in the future) from September 2019

We are looking for a motivated and creative Reception teacher (experienced or newly qualified) to join our friendly, committed and hard working staff team from September 2019. You will have high expectations of yourself and the children in your care and be creative in your approaches to teaching and learning within the Early Years setting. Ideally, you will have experience of teaching within a Reception class and have a knowledge and understanding of the Early Years curriculum and assessment procedures. You will be willing to strive to be an outstanding practitioner and will receive a full professional development programme to support this aspiration. NQTs will be offered a comprehensive support package to develop practice.  

Five Ways is a large, three form entry primary school with approximately 680 pupils on roll. We are seeking to appoint a Reception classteacher who will be able to make a significant contribution to our school as we continue our journey to return to outstanding.

 - be creative in their approach to delivering the Early Years curriculum;

 - be committed to raising achievement for all children;

 - have excellent behaviour management strategies;

 - be flexible and adaptable to work in different situations;
