Teacher of complex needs - Main Pay Range for qualified teacher £23720 - £39406 + TLR 2 and an SEN allowance (SEN1)

Required to start 1st September 2019

We are excited to be opening our new bespoke complex needs centre in September 2019 and as a result are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and outstanding manager and teacher of children with complex needs, to work at this popular 4-19 special school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties.

Candidates will be required to deliver a personalised curriculum tailored to suit the specific needs of pupils with complex needs, taking into account sensory processing, communication, behaviour and therapeutic needs. Suitable candidates will evidence imagination, creativity, flexibility and originality throughout their career.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and supportive, with the ability to produce

lessons that captivate and encourage students of all abilities. Candidates will have a clear knowledge of current developments within the teaching of special educational needs, as well as the ability to successfully work in partnership with colleagues to plan and teach.
