New College Worcester (NCW)
New College Worcester is a nationally regarded non-maintained special school, devoted to the education of visually impaired young people aged 11 – 19. NCW has a ‘Good’ OFSTED report. We are seeking to appoint the following:
JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT ACTIVITIES CO-ORDINATOR
REF: C187/0319
Grade / pay scale: SCP18-21 (£18,870 - £20,541)
Are you the person we are looking for – to work closely with the Activities Co-ordinator and, where appropriate, other colleagues to provide a programme of activities primarily outside the normal school teaching day (evenings and weekends) and involving residential trips which will require flexibility in days and hours.
NCW is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is conditional on two references, an enhanced DBS Clearance and Registration, and medical clearance. NCW is an Equal Opportunities employer
Experience of teaching students with a vision impairment is not a requirement of the post as the College is primarily interested in appointing an effective member of staff.
