Learning Assistant - Early Years (Temporary)
Required for 29th April
Initial one term contract with possibility of extension for a further 12 months
32.5 Hours per Week Term Time Only
Grade 3 £18,065 - £18,426 Pro rata
St John’s is a large, successful primary academy that is committed to providing an excellent education for its pupils. The Learning Assistant role will be to support children in Early Years. They will work in partnership with other Classroom and Teaching Staff to deliver high quality learning experiences for children. They will be committed to working with all children including those with Special Educational Needs and also contribute to the creation of an appropriate learning environment. Experience of working in an Early Years setting will be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high quality care and education for children as well as holding a NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge skills and experience.
The hours will be 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only.
Experience of working in an Early Years setting will be an advantage.
