Nechells Primary E-ACT Academy is an inclusive, supportive primary based in Nechells, Birmingham.

We provide a welcoming, secure and stimulating learning environment for all of our pupils. We have an exciting opportunity for a KS2 Teacher to join us from 1 September 2019, to support us in providing an outstanding education to all pupils.

We are on a positive journey towards good and beyond. Our latest Ofsted inspection made it very clear that due to the strategic leadership of the recently appointed Headteacher, there have been a number of significant improvements across the academy in the short period of time she has been in post. The Headteacher has devised clear and robust

plans to develop practice around teaching and learning, assessment, and behaviour, whilst at the same time setting the very highest standards for all staff.

Nechells has a close partnership with Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rated Mansfield Green E-ACT Academy, and undertakes joint PPA and CPD.

The successful candidate will have a desire to make a positive, lasting impression on the children at Nechells, raising their attainment in the process, and will be:

• An excellent classroom practitioner

• Enthusiastic about delivering an exciting and creative curriculum

• A caring professional who has high expectations of pupil achievement

• Keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
