37 Hours per week –  Fixed Term until 31st September 2019

The Care Planning and Court Service engages with children between the ages of 0-13 and creates inspirational plans which enables opportunities and empowers our children to achieve in all areas. 

As a Family Support Worker you will be responsible for undertaking direct work with children including life story work, providing contact between children and their birth families, and supporting vulnerable young people and children in their current circumstances. You will also be expected to support Social Workers in crisis situations and may need to attend Court in relation to your involvement in relevant cases.

As such you will bring effective communication and listening skills, ability to problem solve, think logically, and remain calm in a crisis.
