Herefordshire Adults & Communities are developing adult social care services in keeping with the new responsibilities under the Care Act 2014. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking practitioner to join us in this opportunity to enhance the existing services.
You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC. You will be expected to have a good knowledge of complex case management, effective decision making skills including positive risk taking and conflict resolution.
You will have a solid knowledge base within adult social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation. You will have the ideas, values and you will receive regular supervision from your line manager in the locality team and we will provide you with opportunities to develop your practice to take you forward in your career.
Herefordshire is a rural county and the ability to travel is integral to the post. The salary is competitive and relocation expenses are available where appropriate.
