SENIOR REABLEMENT OFFICER

This is an exciting time to join our team

Walsall Council is looking to recruit a Senior Reablement Officer as we begin to transform the in-house Provider offer across our Adult Social Care services.

Applicants should be innovative and inspiring as well as possess a strong sense of Leadership resilience and flexibility as we work to meet the changing demands of the service and its end users We are moving towards delivery of an All Age Disability approach, where emphasis will be on empowerment, Independence and maximising opportunities around ordinary life.

Applicants will be expected to actively contribute to the design, implementation and review of the support and service delivered moving forward, whilst ensuring   policies and procedures embed into everyday working practices to ensure positive outcomes for people.

Candidates would also need to demonstrate an understanding and an ability to access   local community resources and how these can promote an individual’s independence and wellbeing.

An integral part of the role will also involve directing and supporting front line staff teams and their partners to ensure a person centred and a proportionate approach is adopted in all aspects of service delivery. Pro- active and innovative in your approach when managing the day today needs of the service model as well as remaining an active team member that can actively engage and input into the delivery of the Walsall Proud Programme.
