Commencing on Monday 29th April 2019 for a fixed term until July 2020.

The appointment will be subject to satisfactory references

The Governors and Head Teacher of Woodlands Infant School are seeking to appoint a fixed term lunchtime Supervisor.

12.00pm - 1.30pm

The role will include:

Set up and clear up tables and chairs before and after lunch

Supervising pupils at lunch time in the dining hall

Supervising pupils as they play outside, encouraging sharing and playing and organizing activities

Wet playtime supervision of pupils in their own classrooms

Completing the class register at 1.00pm

Assisting the teacher in the classroom from 1.15pm to 1.30pm


Resolving any play time disputes amongst pupils and recording relevant information in communication books

Following our safeguarding and other school policies

Lunchtime supervisors must be smart appearance and enjoy engaging with pupils

Supervisors must encourage pupils to follow the school rules at all times

Attendance at training sessions, (will be paid overtime)

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
