There’s no better time to work in Coventry. The city successfully bid to become UK City of Culture in 2021 and is now preparing to take centre stage and show the world what it has to offer.

We are looking to recruit a talented Economic Growth Officer to join our successful Programmes Team working on our biggest and most important  projects, supporting the successful delivery of the £131m Local Growth Fund Programme on behalf of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

This is an exciting and varied role which will deputise for the Growth Deal Programme Manager and support the accountable body function for the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.

A natural self-starter, with a can-do attitude, you will ideally have experience of contract management and claims monitoring, having worked on previous grant funded programmes of activity. In addition the ideal candidate should have excellent stakeholder management, report writing and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Although not essential, experience of working on Capital Programmes would be desirable.

The role is initially temporary for two years.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity please call Lucy McGovern on 02476 971058 or 07590 443878.
