About the role

Sense are recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative Quality and Compliance Manager. Through your leadership and commitment, you will help to ensure all regulated services are high quality, person centred and continuously improving.

We’re really proud that Sense has a proven record of offering high quality, pioneering services of which 98% are CQC rated Good or above

You will work with a team of dedicated professionals to achieve high quality outcomes for those with complex needs through expert advice, guidance and support. As part of the role, you will undertake investigations and reviews, report on findings and recommendations to ensure compliance and good practice of our regulated services.

About you

You will be a strong leader with experience of working in a health and social care or education setting. In addition, you will have knowledge of key statutory requirements, for example regulation by CQC, RQIA, CIW or Ofsted; health and safety legislation; the Mental Capacity Act and DOLS; safeguarding; and GDPR.

You will be based at our brand new, purpose built centre TouchBase Pears - just a short walk from Selly Oak train station.

About us

For everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind. Sense is here to help people communicate and experience the world.

We believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.

Working at Sense can be incredibly rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large, diverse and successful charity where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in a supportive and flexible environment. In addition we have excellent training and development, the opportunity for you to join our Group Personal Pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement.

This is a really exciting time to join Sense as we launch our new strategy. We want you to be part of it!  For more information please contact Rebecca Hodgson, rebecca.hodgson@sense.org.uk or 07572151284.
