Scale Point: Grade 2 £10445  - £10641 per annum + SEND allowance

Contract: Temporary Fixed Term Contract 1 year in the first instance [8.30am -1pm] 22.5hrs a week

We are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced classroom teaching assistant on a temporary basis for one year in the first instance.

The successful candidate will

• support the ethos of the school and work collaboratively with the SENDco in their responsibility for the development and education of children by utilising detailed knowledge and specialist skills
• complement the professional work of colleagues under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement agreed programmes with individuals or groups.  This may involve covering a Class Teacher for occasional and short periods

The ideal candidate for this post will have recent experience in helping pupils make strong progress and have a proven track record in effective assessment and accelerated learning.

The successful candidate will be a highly effective and flexible team member, ensuring a high quality education for all of our pupils and the highest standards of learning and achievement.  The promotion of inclusivity and a nurturing approach are essential skills.
