Job Details

Required for an Immediate start

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring individual to work with our most vulnerable children.

As a Safeguarding and Pastoral Lead you will play a vital role in the development and running of systems that provide care and support for pupils and their families.

Duties and responsibilities will include (but not exhaustive):

  1. Support and building effective relationships with parents/carers
  2. Enabling children to be successful by promoting excellent attitudes towards learning and behaviour
  3. Provide 1.1 mentoring and emotional support for identified children
  4. Support the DSL in the implementation of child protection policy and procedures.
  5. Ensuring that children are kept safe and work positively with a range of professionals to protect children
  6. Working closely with other members of staff
  7. Liaising with external agencies to provide outstanding pastoral care
  8. Working with families to access Early Help
  9. Supporting our Nurture Provision within school
  10. Maintain good quality records both electronically and paper copies.
  11. Using systems in school such as E-CAF, SIMMS and i-school.
  12. Keep up to date with current Safeguarding procedures.
