Job Details

Edgewick Primary School are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher with specific responsibility for SEND, Inclusion and Well-being. You will need to be forward thinking, innovative in leadership and display a passion for education. This post is instrumental in completing our strategic plan for ‘Senior’ and ‘Extended’ Leadership.

The new Assistant Head Teacher will be committed to leading Teaching and Learning across the whole school. You will bring creativity and innovation to further develop the Edgewick curriculum and you will display passion and drive for outstanding achievement and progress, expecting nothing less than the very best outcomes for our children and wider community.

You will be:
• A strategic member of our school leadership team with a 0.6 teaching commitment across the school
• A dynamic teacher who can influence children within their care
• A highly motivated and inspirational leader with a successful track record in working with children and families with a wide range of educational needs
• A leader with vision, creativity, drive and enthusiasm to continue the development of our school
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills that motivate, lead, support and challenge
• Committed to the safeguarding of children
