The Governors of this modern, successful Academy are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Finance Director with responsibility for the financial development and leadership of resources at All Saints' Academy, playing a key role in the Senior Leadership Team.
As Finance Director, you will join a successful Senior Leadership Team who are passionate about providing excellence for the young people and families they serve. Under the outstanding leadership of Dermot McNiffe, Principal, the senior team have been instrumental in leading the Academy to be one of the best performing non-selective secondary schools in the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury area over the past two years.
The Academy was rated “Good” for the second time in December 2018.
As Finance Director you will be responsible for:
• Managing the financial function of the Academy
• Financial planning and development
• Implementation of financial procedures
• Identification and the administration of additional funding streams to enhance the growth and facilities of the Academy
• Identifying growth opportunities for site and community facilities
We are looking to appoint a Finance Director with the following experience:
• Appropriate accountancy experience and a CCAB qualification;
• A good understanding and effective use of MIS, financial processes and procedures
• Working knowledge of facilities management and Health & Safety
Knowledge and experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage but full consideration will be given to all applicants with the appropriate financial management experience.
