#TeamMoreton
Due to the success of our academy we have been asked to increase our student numbers and therefore we have a number of exciting vacancies.
We can offer you
- A real work/life balance
- Minimal planning and centralised resources
- No marking, focused feedback
- Real CPD and a personal coach
- Knowledge rich curriculum
- A genuinely balanced curriculum offer. We believe in giving our students valuable experiences in the Arts, Sport, outdoor education, travel abroad and so much more!
Why choose Moreton School?
Firstly, because our children are amazing!
- We passionately believe in our knowledge-rich curriculum and our collaboratively planned curriculum has dramatically reduced workload. Over the last few years we have proven that although feedback is vitally important to our students, this can be achieved through adapting teaching and not through arduous marking, hence we do not mark.
- We are developing a coaching model to ensure all staff have a personal coach who works with them throughout the year, which negates the need for onerous quality assurance and ensures that they have the ‘real’ CPD that they need for career progression.
- Our efforts to reduce workload provides a genuine work/life balance.
- A team of highly qualified non-teaching pastoral staff support our centrally managed conduct system. This ensures that teachers can teach and students can learn in a calm and safe environment. Our inclusive approach means that our SEND students are the heart of our school. A Mental Health and Wellbeing team supports all of our staff and students.
- Graduates are welcome to apply and join either our two-year Graduate Teacher Training Programme or our PGCE route into Teach First.
Come and visit our school at any time and look at our plans for the new Amethyst Sixth Form building, which will be ready for September 2019.
