At Lower Farm Academy, we are looking for an excellent School Business Manager to promote the highest standards for business within the administrative functioning of the Academy and strategically ensure the most effective use of resources is achieved in support of the Academy’s learning objectives. We are looking for an individual who is up for a challenge and has experience in providing exceptional standards in these areas. There will be massive opportunities to develop and shape an outstanding provision as the school grows to a Two Form entry school with a 26 place nursery over the coming years.

About us

Lower Farm Academy is a new primary academy in Nuneaton and is part of REAch2 Academy Trust. We will be a school which cultivates strong cultural, social and moral values in line with the REAch2 touchstones so that the school is at the heart of the new community it serves. We will offer an exciting and innovative curriculum with a wide range of unique learning experiences. A talented and well-qualified workforce will engage all learners and stakeholders to ensure the academy maintains the highest standards across everything it does. High aspirations and expectations will encompass the life of the school and establish it at the heart of the community it serves.

The academy is now looking to appoint permanent staff to inspire our community and be an integral part of the unique opportunity to build and grow the school from its infancy. There is no doubt that setting up the academy from the very start will take vision, dedication and hard-work, but being part of this exciting and rare journey will be very rewarding to help shape the academy over the next few years.

About the role

At Lower Farm, we pride ourselves on the high expectations we place on the academic achievements and behaviour of all children, as well as the diverse, engaging and creative curriculum which underpins all that we do.  Lower Farm is an inclusive setting, valuing all children’s achievements, ensuring that each child is given every opportunity to meet their full potential.  There is no doubt that Lower Farm will be an exciting place to be – for children, staff, parents and the local community!

As a School Business Manager, you will need to operate, maintain and develop the administrative and financial procedures and systems of the Academy in co-operation with the other members of the Senior Management Team and Governors. You will also be a key factor in establishing the academy in our community and developing strong links with good communication channels with our families as we grow.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an excellent School Business Manager who can help shape the provision and grow the school over the coming years. You will be part of a unique journey to help create a state of the art school at the heart of the community as well as being part of the largest primary only Multi-Academy Trust in the country.

The successful candidate will have:

  • The motivation to achieve the very best for the children in our care and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
  • Good organisational skills.

In return we can offer:

  • A firm commitment to you and your professional development.
  • Friendly, supportive, enthusiastic and hardworking colleagues, staff and Governors.
  • A growing learning community.
  • Encouragement to develop new ideas and the opportunity to make a real difference.
  • Coaching and mentoring from the academy’s Senior Leadership Team.
  • Fantastic trust-wide CPD opportunities
  • Vast opportunities for career progression
