Charlton School is looking to create a bank of volunteer staff, to work alongside our education professionals in curriculum areas. We are looking for individuals who feel they would like to be part of our hard working staff on a voluntary basis and who are keen to work in a variety of roles across the curriculum. We are especially hoping to recruit some support in Science, Art, PE, DofE, Food Technology and Textiles.

Duties could range from working behind the scenes to prepare for lessons and to clean up after practical sessions, to assisting staff during the lessons.

Volunteers come from all walks in life and will look to volunteer for many reasons. If you have a particular interest in school life, or just need something to fill your day, please consider joining our team of dedicated volunteers.

An enhanced DBS will be required, which is free of charge and you will go through the usual vetting processes required to work in a school.
