The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) is a highly successful Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 4 secondary schools, 8 primary schools, a Teaching School, and SCITT.  Our MAT is currently expanding and will soon be 14 schools, 5 secondary and 9 primary, based in north Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire.

As the ATLP grows and develops further exciting opportunities have arisen for the following role based at Scotch Orchard Primary School, Scotch Orchard, Lichfield, Staffordshire, WS13 6DE.

Hours - 10.00 per week term time plus 5 inset days (8.30am - 10.30am Monday - Friday)

You will be supporting the Office Manager with the provision of a high quality, confidential and timely service to pupils, staff, parents and visitors. You will also support with administrative duties as part of the wider school office team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and greeting visitors to the school, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Providing telephony service – transferring calls, taking and delivering messages
  • To maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
  • To undertake appropriate first aid training and provide first aid to pupils
  • To provide administrative support such duties to include word-processing, letter production, data inputting, form completion, photocopying, mailing, deliveries and record management.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All staff have a responsibility to ensure task are carries out with due regard to Health and Safety.
  • To undertake appropriate professional development including adhering to the principle of performance management
  • To promote the vision and aims of the Trust
  • To set an example of personal integrity and professionalism
  • To attend appropriate staff meetings, training and CPD sessions
  • To be an effective team player and support the function of the ATLP
  • The above duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required to carry out such duties as may be required from time to time, commensurate to the appropriate grade of the post. The post is likely to develop over time and specific tasks may be added or removed, therefore, flexibility is paramount.
  • The duties of the post could vary from time to time because of new legislation, changes in technology or policy; appropriate training may be given to enable the post holder to undertake new or varied work.
  • Observance of Equal Opportunities, Confidentiality, Safeguarding, Health and Safety Policies and Internet code of Practice will be required.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.
