The Inspirational Learning Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a permanent Assistant Head Teacher to the SLT based at Whitfield Valley Primary Academy from September 2019. Whitfield Valley Primary Academy is a 2 FE school, recently graded as a good school with outstanding leadership.  

We are looking to employ a teacher with great leadership potential, to join us at our inspirational trust. The post will have a full time teaching commitment in any key stage depending on suitability of applicant. You will also be responsible for leading a core subject and key stage whilst also maintaining our children’s high standards.

We are looking for a practitioners who:

  • Has a proven outstanding record of teaching.
  • Has worked to coach and mentor others successfully to become outstanding practitioners
  • Has outstanding knowledge of the curriculum
  • Has an unrelenting drive to raise standards and track improvement through effective systems & procedures
  • Is motivated to demonstrate innovative and forward thinking approaches
  • Is able to demonstrate leadership and managerial qualities
  • Shows strong commitment to the outcomes of children within our trust
  • Demonstrates a track record of whole school improvement for a given subject or phase

Shortlisted candidates will be notified on Friday 3rd May 2019, with lesson observations in candidates’ own setting on 20th or 21st May 2019. Following observations successful candidates will be invited to interview on Wednesday 22nd May 2019.
