Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Level 2)- ref TV02019

We are currently seeking an apprentice to train as a level 2 teaching assistant in our school. This post will be Monday to Friday, term time only plus 5 training days, from 8.45am-3.30pm. The apprenticeship period will be 18 months

Starting date: September 2019

Qualifications required

• GCSE Maths and English – Grade C or equivalent

 Rate of Pay: The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.90 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over AFTER completing their first year. 

You will be undertaking Apprenticeship Training which will require 20% off job training this may include travel to a local training centre. You may also be required to undertake Functional Skills Training.
