0.7 Teacher Permanent Post from September 2019
If you’re an experienced and enthusiastic KS2 teacher looking to reduce your hours from full time but still very much want to be a valued and integral part of a caring school team, then this post might just be for you! The successful candidate’s current position on the teacher’s pay scale will be honoured - we are looking for your experience and will therefore re-numerate accordingly.
This post is to cover PPA for KS2 and teach a KS2 class one day per week (probably Friday in Y5 but this may change depending on the needs of the school). The timetable is likely to be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, afternoons only and Thursday and Friday all day (candidate’s own PPA and subject time is included in this). Ideally you will be an IT specialist but for a strong candidate able to offer an alternative specialist subject, this would also be considered.
Prospective candidates are warmly invited to view the school by contacting office: 01782 234390/1 (school is closed from April 15th – 26th inclusive)
Please contact the school office for application pack or visit WM jobs during the holidays where the pack is downloadable.
Key Requirements:
- Have an excellent understanding of the curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment
- Be able to offer a subject specialism, ideally IT, but other subjects also considered
- Ideally, but not essentially, a personally committed Christian who is an active member of her/his own church (which is recognised by Churches Together in England) and who is committed to applying her/his own faith practically to the Christian mission and ethos of our culturally diverse school.
Please telephone to arrange to visit us (school will be closed from 15th- 26th April inclusive).
Closing date for applications: 3:30 p.m. Monday 13th May 2019
Interviews are likely to be held week commencing Monday 20th May 2019
Starting date: Monday 4th September 2019
