Class Teacher

The Role

Our Governors wish to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and creative class teacher to join our successful and friendly school in September 2019. 
Our school is diverse and it is one of the happiest schools you’ll ever work in! In fact we have earned an official Happiness Award! If you are a bubbly, enthusiastic 2%er we’d love to have you at our school. 
We are looking initially for a Year 1 Class Teacher and we welcome applicants with any length of experience who are creative, exciting and have a passion for teaching children new and exciting things. 
We want teachers who love inspiring children to do their best…and then a little bit more! We want positive, hardworking, fun people who enjoy making a difference to children’s lives and motivating them to learn.

Key Requirements

• QTS Primary trained 
• Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievement and behaviour from all pupils 
• Motivation, energy and an innovative approach to teaching and learning 
• Imaginative delivery of the curriculum in order to engage pupils of all abilities 
• An understanding of the new national curriculum and SEN Code of Practice 
• Committed to working with parents and families as children’s first educators
