Salary: £9031 - £9583 per annum

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Heronswood Primary School is looking to appoint a talented, forward thinking and innovative Teaching Assistant who can inspire and motivate our children.

The role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about giving pupils the best education and one who promotes the highest of expectations in relation to behaviour and learning.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Previous experience in working in an educational setting
• EYFS experience desirable
• Good understanding of supporting behaviour in a nurturing environment
• Able to work with children 1:1 as required
• Able to work in the whole class environment
• Good interpersonal skills

You will need to be:

• Flexible and creative
• Positive and hard working
• Understanding of how children learn and develop
• Understanding to differing children’s needs

The role will include supporting children at lunchtime.

You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated staff.
