Job Details
Castle Wood Special Primary School (3 – 11 yrs) are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed person, who is interested in undertaking a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship in our school.
As a Team Member of the school you will work under the guidance of the Teaching Staff to develop the skills that employees need. You will learn on the job, building knowledge and skills while gaining qualifications and a salary. Working as an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the class teacher and pupils on a daily basis. This will involve 1-1 support, group support and personal care duties. You will also assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring all pupils have the correct resources to enable them to participate fully.
The skills you develop will be transferable, which will enable you to progress in a highly skilled career in the Education sector.
