We are seeking an inspiring, talented and hardworking teacher to lead as 2nd in Department. We want to recruit a fantastic Science teacher who can make a difference to the lives of our students and assist the Head of Department in the development and evaluation of the department improvement plan, including curriculum review and planning. This post would include teaching Science across KS3 & KS4. You will be used to planning and delivering high quality lessons, with experience in delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE level. 

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:

• Has real enthusiasm for their subject and a commitment to teaching Science
• Teaches engaging and challenging lessons that promote students’ abilities to learn independently and to respond effectively to feedback
• Believes that Science has an important role to play in the development of     students’ skills, knowledge and understanding
• Is able to contribute to the Science team and take an active part in curriculum planning and preparation
• Is able to instill in students a love of Science
• Recognises the value of learning beyond the classroom in enhancing the understanding and experience of the world in which we live
• Is keen to work in a school which is held in high esteem by its parents and who want further to extend this reputation for excellence
