Ercall Wood Academy - Teacher of Religious Education

Required for September 2019

 1.0 FTE Permanent

Teacher Main scale/Upper pay scale

Due to the increasing demand for places at our popular school we are expanding our provision for September 2019.

Ercall Wood Academy is a warm, welcoming and innovative school in Wellington, Telford. We enjoy modern, state of the art facilities and are proud members of the Learning Community Trust, a family of schools in the local vicinity.

To support the expansion plans we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, creative and enthusiastic teacher of Religious Education. Suitable candidates must; be committed to the academic and emotional welfare of our children, have a clear vision for how their values underpin their teaching practice and demonstrate enthusiasm for their specialist discipline.

We can provide a high level of support and resources. All teachers are assigned a touch screen laptop to access the wide array of hardware and software tools at our disposal. We have a whole school commitment to developing practice through CPD, coaching, department leads and a dedicated senior lead for Teaching and Learning.

The scope for this collaborative support is extended further though the LCT with additional trust wide opportunities such as NPQML and NPQSL. We also have a successful NQT development programme. Considerable support is available, so any level of experience is welcome to apply.

All of our schools are committed to the well-being of our colleagues and all teaching staff have access to a welfare package. We are keen to recruit and retain high calibre staff, within the trust opportunity for career development is high.

If you are an enthusiastic and energetic teacher, committed to engaging learning experiences, this is a great opportunity to join a school where the goal is to achieve success through pupil enjoyment of learning and staff enjoyment of teaching.
