Do you have the ability and experience to interpret, analyse and organise data and then present your conclusions clearly and logically?
If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the successful Provision Planning and Accommodation Team within the Children, Families and Communities Directorate. You will use your experience to forecast pupil numbers so the Council can meet its statutory duty to ensure a sufficiency of education places for children and young people in Worcestershire.
You will also play a key part in liaising with district councils and housing developers to request Section 106 contributions to education provision as a result of new housing developments.
Key Requirements
You should be self-motivated and be able to work to tight and changing deadlines. You should have good problem solving skills and be able to offer innovative solutions to help improve outcomes for all children and young people.
Some of the key skills you will need include an excellent knowledge and ability in data analysis. As well as considerable expertise in IT, especially Excel, you will need good communication skills, both oral and written and a willingness to learn.
