We are now recruiting for Social Workers and Social Care Workers

Salary:

Social Care Worker:                 £21,589 - £23,836

Social Worker L2:                     £24,799 - £27,905

Social Worker Level 3:            £28,785 - £32,878

In Worcestershire, we use the Three Conversation approach, a strength-based model that focuses on people's strengths, own assets and those in communities.  All of our staff receive support from Advanced Social Work Professionals, have regular supervision and opportunities for team reflection and development on a weekly basis.    Most of these roles can be worked flexibly and with mobile working.    You will be part of a service keen to develop your career with a supportive manager who provides regular supervision.

Area Social Work Teams: Supporting people who are over 18 with a wide range of support needs (excluding Learning Disabilities and Adult Mental Health). We work closely with GPs and other community health colleagues to develop models of integrated working, called Neighbourhood Teams. We have a range of office bases in Worcester, Pershore, Droitwich, Malvern, Kidderminster, Evesham and Bromsgrove.

Continuing Health Care Social Workers: The Continuing Healthcare Social Work Team is also part of the 3Cs approach, but with a strong emphasis on ensuring individuals receive the right funding for their care needs at the right time.  You will need to have a clear understanding of the NHS Continuing Healthcare guidance and be able to build good relationships with health colleagues.  The office base is Worcester.

Social Worker: Registered Social Workers carrying out the duties of a social worker. Level 2 is a qualified social worker role, Level 3 is a senior qualified social worker role. Applicants requiring an ASYE opportunity can be considered but limited.

Social Care Worker: These role is based within the Area Social Work team, working closely with people in the communities to ensure care and support needs are met, promoting access to all types of community facilities. You will work alongside qualified social workers using the Three Conversation Model and have opportunities for development through peer support and training.
