This is an exciting time for Social Workers to join Herefordshire Council’s adult social care team. Recent innovation and service transformation has enabled us to enhance the workforce and create several exciting developmental posts and opportunities to practice differently throughout our teams.

Working with local communities and developments, services are growing to support our ambition to help adults live safe, healthy and independent lives by offering enhanced preventative and pro-active community services. Our community broker scheme recently winning an award for innovation. This means our multi-skilled team enable us to be responsive to individuals whatever their needs.

We are now looking for registered Social Worker’s with broad experience in mental health and learning disabilities to help us drive our ambition forward. Essential to have confidence in multi-agency working and a passion for supporting people to lead the best lives possible and to have the values and knowledge of delivering strengths-based, personalised assessments. We are committed and passionate about training and career progression for our social workers.
