Horton Lodge School is looking to appoint a domestic assistant/cleaner from 13th May 2019, or soon thereafter. Horton Lodge School is a Local Authority Special School for children aged 2-11years with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. Our students have a range of complex learning needs including cognitive, physical, sensory, emotional and health related disabilities. The primary role of the post will involve working across the school to ensure that the premises and equipment is clean and safe for pupils’ to access.

You will be fully supportive of the all-round ethos and vision of our school. This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff & volunteers to share this commitment. This post subject to a DBS Disclosure.

The post is between 8.00 hours and 20.00 hours a week. Monday mornings are essential, but other days and hours to be confirmed. Initially the position is on a casual basis, but a permanent position will be available.

The successful candidate will undertake duties detailed in School Domestic Assistant Job Profile C1069 at Grade 2 term time plus one week (SCP 7 – 10, £9.00 - £9.18 Per Hour).
