Job Details
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust’s central finance team as a Finance Officer.
We are looking for a self-motivated, tenacious individual who can work as part of a team but can effectively prioritise their own work. This role would suit someone who wants to help shape and inform the progresses and practices that are put into place to ensure the growth of the Trust over the next few years.
This successful candidate will provide financial support to a number of academies within the Trust to include budget setting, in year monitoring, maintenance and closure of the monthly accounts and the preparation of the academy’s year end accounts for external audit inspection. There will also be a requirement for the preparation of reports for internal bodies including Trustees and Governors of the Trust.
The successful candidate will need to be qualified to AAT or equivalent, have a minimum of two years’ experience in a finance environment, must have excellent communication skills, understand the importance of working to tight deadlines and have the flexibility to achieve this. The post holder will need to work across a number of different sites within the Trust.
Previous experience of using an accounting system specifically PS Financials would be an helpful but not necessary as training will be given.
