TEACHER OF SCIENCE

(0.4 – 0.6 Temporary)

Salary: £9488 - £20595 per annum

Required from September 2019 for one year in the first instance, an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Science to join our successful and exciting school. The Science Department is looking for a well-qualified teacher to teach Science within a strong department.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. In December 2015, Ofsted praised the outstanding behaviour and courtesy of our students and the respect that they showed to staff. They judged students’ “personal development” too as outstanding. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. The Science Department is developing rapidly and outcomes at GCSE this year were excellent. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated and driven professionals to join our team. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the subject is essential. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students.
